Jaguar Electric E-Type Takes Part in the Royal Wedding
The world recently rejoiced with the marriage of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle. As people watched the ceremony, many noted the presence of a number of high-end vehicles from British automakers. Standing proudly among them was the Jaguar E-Type Zero.
Driven by the newlyweds from the ceremony at Windsor Castle to the reception at Frogmore House, the E-Type Zero is an electric version of Jaguar’s beloved sports car. Capable of 295 horsepower with a 40-kilowatt-hour electric engine, it has a driving range of 168 miles when the battery’s fully charge.
Only a prototype, the E-Type Zero isn’t available as a regular consumer product. Come the second half of 2018, however, the 2019 Jaguar I-PACE will be available. With three trims and a 90-kWh electric engine, the I-PACE has a driving range of 240 miles. It’s also capable of 395 horsepower and 512 pounds-feet of torque. That kind of power is for electric cars and is enough to get you from zero to 60 miles per hour in a mere 4.5 seconds.
With sleek style on the inside and out, you’ll enjoy a great suite of potential features spread across three different trims. Whether you’re looking for an electric vehicle or just a great SUV, the new I-PACE will present an excellent option for a wide range of drivers.
