Jaguar to Go All-Electric by 2025
Jaguar, one of the most venerable automotive manufacturers in the world, recently made a big announcement. By 2025, all-electric Jaguars will be the only vehicles available from the famous brand. All-Electric Jaguars Are The Foundation For The Brand’s Revamp
Switching to all-electric Jaguars means unveiling an almost completely new lineup in 2025. As a result, the Jaguar internal combustion engine lineup will be no more, with the I-PACE EV the only vehicle likely to remain available a few years from now. Two all-electric Jaguar SUVs will join the lineup, including a smaller version in two and four-door configurations and a larger four-door model with a dual motor AWD powertrain.
The company has also announced its new partnerships with Nvidia and Wolfspeed to streamline new Jaguar EV designs.
Jaguar’s Electric Future May Rival Bentley
There will only be three all-electric Jaguars for sale as of 2025, all of which will feature higher price tags than previous models. By narrowing the lineup, the brand hopes to make its Jaguar EVs more exclusive and possibly rival Bentley in terms of high-priced, coveted vehicles. As a result, the Jaguar dealership family in the U.S. will get smaller.
